Nate Yeager named NACC Defensive Player of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – Nate Yeager was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

A junior from Rio Ranch, New Mexico, Yeager is claiming the honor for the second time this season, the first time being on Oct. 9.

Last week, he played a key role in shutout victories over MSOE and Concordia Chicago.

Against MSOE, Yeager had four saves. The Falcons handed MSOE their first league loss and halted the Raiders' school-record 12-match winning streak.

On Saturday he recorded one save against the Cougars.

Yeager has been a part of four shutout victories for the Falcons in 2018 and has 0.91 goals against average.

Yeager and the Falcons return to play on Wednesday at Rockford.
