Hill and Esposito Haul in IMLCA All-Region Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) announced its 2024 All-Region Honors on Monday afternoon. Junior attackman Max Esposito was voted to the Region Five Second Team and freshman faceoff specialist Jaxon Hill claimed honorable mention honors.

The native of Gaithersburg, Maryland, is claiming his second honor from the IMLCA. Last year, he picked up honorable mention honors from the organization.

Joining Esposito on the second team was Tommy Quinson of Denison and Thomas Powers of Colorado College. On the first team was Luke Fisher of Denison, Eli Spence of Elmhurst and Michael Mann of Hope. Wade Beckstrom of Ohio Wesleyan, David Chintala of Kenyon and Andrew Johnson of Carthage.

The Maryland native has brought in many honors after his incredible 2024 campaign. Claiming All-America Honorable Mention honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) and Lacrosse Magazine. He also claimed All-Region honors from the USILA and Scholar All-America accolades from the same organization. In the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, he was voted the NACC Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and claimed All-Conference First Team honors.

Esposito was statistically one of the best players in the nation in 2024. He ranked second in the nation in points per game at 7.21. He is also third in assists per game at 3.58 and 16th in goals per game at 3.63. Esposito was also 29th in man-up goals with nine and 28th in shot percentage at 0.456.

The freshman from Bismarck, North Dakota is claiming his first All-region honor.

Thomas Nelson of Kenyon secured the first-team honor and Tony Vazquez of Elmhurst snagged the second-team selection.

Last month, Jaxon Hill was voted to the NACC All-Conference First Team and was voted as the NACC Freshman of the Year.

Nationally, Hill ranked fourth in faceoff winning percentage at 0.704 and 12th in ground balls per game at 10.26.

This is the first time in program history that two or more Falcons have claimed IMCLA honors
