Wohlford garners numerous awards during 2019 season

Concordia Wisconsin's Garrett Wohlford is one of the most achieved student-athletes in school history, as he was a USILA All-American, four-time IMLCA All-Region honoree, four-time MLC Defensive Player of the Year and four-time All-MLC First Team recipient.

While he was a highly recognized player on the national scene, he helped the Men's Lacrosse program reach new heights by winning the MLC Tournament Championship and earning a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time in program history this past season.

The senior goalkeeper is considered the greatest player to compete for the Falcons, as he was a four-time Midwest Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Year, four-time All-MLC First Team honoree and earned MLC Defensive Player of the Week honors 10 times throughout his career.

He currently leads the nation in save percentage (.671) and is second nationally in goals-against average (6.37).

Wohlford, a Rochester, Minnesota native, ended his career with the program's game record for saves (21), owns nine of the top-10 game records for saves; leaves with the season record for saves (202), saves per game (10.82) and wins (15). He also graduated as the program's all-time leader in saves (737), saves per game (10.10), save percentage (.629) and wins (53).

During his time with the Falcons, they compiled a 53-21 overall record and a 31-3 record in MLC play. They set a program record with 15 victories during the 2019 season, captured two MLC regular season titles (outright in 2019, shared in 2017), took home the MLC Tournament Championship (2019) and earned the program's first bid to the NCAA Tournament this year.
