NEWSWORTHY NOTES
•  WE MEET AGAIN:
Concordia Wisconsin and Benedictine meet again in the MLC Tournament for the third time in the last four seasons. The Falcons won the two previous meetings: 12-7 at home in 2016 and 16-8 on the road in 2015 for the program's first postseason win.
• DEFENSIVELY SPEAKING: The Falcons defense this season has been outstanding, allowing just 6.06 goals per game and making 62.1 percent of shots they faced. Currently, those two statistics would set program single-season records.
•  PAIR OF DEFENSE LEADERS: Paul Fisher and Garrett Wohlford have anchored the Falcons defense all season, with Fisher setting every caused turnover record in program history. Wohlford ranks seventh nationally in save percentage (62.2) and 12th in goals against (6.57).
• SCOUTING BENEDICTINE: The Eagles have performed well away from home this season with a 6-2 record. They rank second in the MLC for shots on goal (434) and second in save (202). Offensively, Corbin Gett is the main threat with 96 points (60 goals, 36 assists), which ranks him eighth nationally. He has 13 games with five or more points to his credit.
