Wohlford tabbed with IMLCA All-West Second Team honors

FORESTDALE, Mass. – Concordia Wisconsin goalkeeper Garrett Wohlford added Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-West Region Second Team honors to his list of accolades this season, the organization announced on Saturday.

Wohlford (Rochester, Minn.) was already named Midwest Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Year after leading the league in goals against average (6.63) and save percentage (61.0). He also posted a 13-5 record, which is the most wins in a season in CUW history.

The sophomore ranked fourth nationally in goals against average and sixth in save percentage. He had eight games with double-digit saves and led the Falcons to their first share of the MLC regular season title. After just two seasons, Wohlford already ranks first in program history for wins, saves per game and save percentage.
