Bo Didur named NCHA Defensive Player of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association named Bo Didur the NCHA Defensive Player of the Week.

A freshman from West Vancouver, British Columbia, is claiming the title for the first time in his career.

Didur posted 40 saves in a 2-1 victory at No. 13 Marian on Wednesday.

The Falcon defense killed off a Marian six-on-three advantage to preserve the victory.

Didur is the second Falcon to claim an NCHA honor this season. Sophomore Nick Guerra (Victoria, B.C.) was named the NCHA Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 28 after a six-point weekend in Minnesota.

Michael Romund of MSOE claimed the NCHA Offensive Player of the Week honor.

The Falcons return to the ice on Jan. 4 against SUNY Canton at the Oswego State PathFinder Classic.
