GENEVA, Ill. – The CUW men's hockey winning streak came to an end on Friday afternoon at Aurora. The Spartans improved to 6-3-0 and 4-1-0 in the NCHA with the 5-0 victory. CUW moves to 2-6-1 and to 0-4-1 in NCHA action.
The Spartans scored two goals in the opening period.
Aurora added another goal in the second period and scored twice on the power play in the third period.
Sophomore Dakota Delbridge (Tracy, Calif.) finished the game with 31 saves.
Junior Dante Hahn (Victoria, B.C.) won 16 faceoffs on Friday.
CUW won 38 of the 60 faceoffs.
The Falcons look to bounce back at home on Saturday against Lake Forest.
