Men’s Hockey topped at St. Scholastica

DULUTH, Minn. – The CUW men's hockey team moved to 0-4-1 with a 4-2 loss at St. Scholatica on Friday night.

Davis Ross started the scoring for the Saints on Friday.

Sophomore Nick Guerra (Victoria, B.C.) tied the game with a goal at the 13:04 mark of the second period. Sophomore Braydon Barker (Red Deer, Alta.) and junior Dante Hahn (Victoria, B.C.) were credited with the assists.

CSS took back the lead three minutes later.

Senior Stefen Seel (Invermere, B.C.) scored with five seconds left in the second period. Sophomore Andrej Buchko (Peoria, Ill.) and freshman Jacob Palmerio (Sault Ste Marie, Ont.) had the CUW assists.

The Saint scored two goals in the third period.

Sophomore Dakota Delbridge (Tracy, Calif.) recorded 33 saves on the evening.

Freshman Cory Dennis (Madison, Wis.) led CUW with nine shots.

Freshman Peter Kapak (Red Deer, Alta.) and junior Mac Ferner (Vernon, B.C.) both finished with two blocks.

CUW went 1 for 6 on the power play on Friday.
