No. 1 St. Norbert edges Men’s Hockey in overtime

MEQUON, Wis. – The No. 1-ranked Green Knights extended their winning streak to 14 games after a 3-2 overtime victory against the Falcons. Concordia Wisconsin pushed the reigning national champions to their first overtime session since the 2018 national championship game.

Sophomore Nick Guerra (Victoria, B.C.) scored on the power play in the first period to give the Falcons the lead.

Junior Dante Hahn (Victoria, B.C.) and sophomore Nick Guiney (Victoria, B.C.) were credited with assists.

St. Norbert struck twice on the power play to take the lead after 40 minutes.

Guerra struck again in the third period to tie the game. Dante Hahn and freshman Cory Dennis (Madison, Wis.) had the assists.

Friday was the first overtime game for the Falcons since Feb. 17.

Sophomore Dakota Delbridge (Tracy, Calif.) posted 30 saves on the night, including some key saves late.

11 Falcons recorded a shot on Friday night.
