QUOTING HEAD COACH SHAWN CASSIDY
"My parents taught me to work hard and surround myself with good people. 216 wins is a staff accomplishment. I have been able to assemble an incredible coaching staff who has been together with me for a long time. Coach Jon Cain has been with me from the beginning and Coach Dan Mueller started as a student assistant and has grown his role, taking over the defense. I have had great volunteer assistants like Patrick Doherty and David Cooks who have given so much to the program. I am surrounded by incredible people from President Ferry, the administration, faculty, staff and the entire athletic department. We have outstanding coaches who care for and support each other while fulfilling the mission of Concordia. I feel fortunate to be able to share thoughts or ideas and learn from an incredible collection of coaches in our athletic department. I also want to thank my wife Paula, who takes care of everything at home, which allows me to coach. I am very aware of the people around me and no one does this alone."
