It's been an awesome journey so far

I want to take a moment to reflect on Saturday's game and thank a few people.

Scoring 1,000 career points is a great accomplishment. To achieve this milestone, thousands upon thousands of hours were put in to be successful. In addition, to these thousands of hours, I had to overcome many obstacles. Success did not come easy by any means. I define my success by hard work with the ability to persevere. As well, I had the help and support of many people.

I am very thankful to have been able to achieve 1,000 points in the last two and a half seasons. I would not have been able to achieve this milestone without the help of many people and want to first thank Coach Cassidy, Coach Mueller, Coach Cain, Coach Doherty, and the legendary Coach Cooks. Each of these coaches have further enhanced my knowledge of the game of basketball and have increased my abilities on the court. Furthermore, they have helped me build a faith life and become a better person off the court.

Next, I would like to thank my teammates who have been there for me on and off the court. Without my teammates, I would not have been able to reach 1,000 career points.

Lastly, I would like to thank my entire family. One of the biggest reasons I decided to attend Concordia is because I wanted to stay close to the most important part of my life…family. My family has been here to support me in everything I do. They have provided unconditional love and I would not be where I am today without them.

I also can't forget about the fans who have supported this program this year and in every year past. We appreciate your support.
