#CUWStatsInfo: Josh Hau's joins the 1,000 point club

MEQUON, Wis. – Senior Josh Hau has become the 17th player in CUW Men's Basketball program history to reach 1,000 career points. Hau accomplished this feat in 75 games, which is the fastest in the NCAA-era. The impressive part of Hau's run comes from the fact that the prolific scorer seemed to get to this mark in basically two and a half years, after not seeing much of the floor his freshman year. Here is the break down on how he got there.

1003 – The current total of career points Hau has accumulated over his four years. Hau has 14 regular season games left to grow that total.

75 – The number of games it took Hau to accomplish 1,000 career points. Nobody has done it in a shorter amount of time. Hau only has 53 career starts throughout his time at CUW.

45.2 – The percent from the field that Hau has converted on during his career. The Slinger native is having his best year from the field this season, as he is shooting 49.6 percent in 11 games.

1682 – The amount of minutes it took to accomplish this feat. Hau played a season-high 780 minutes his junior year compared to only 34 his freshman year.

342 – The number of field goals that the senior has drained in order to reach the 1,000 point mark. Hau for his career is 342-for-756 from the field.

126 – The number of 3-pointers that have rained down from above in Hau's four years. 52 is his season high.

193 – The number of free throws that Hau has made in order to become the 17th player in history to get to join the 1,000 point club.

11.825/11.875 – Hau home and away averages through his four years. Josh Hau has a better average on the road than at home.

25.7 – Average amount of points per 40 minutes that Hau averages in wins. If the senior is on the Falcons win. It's as simple as that.
