The last time the two teams played on November 5, 2016 the Panthers earned a 77-62 win. Meanwhile, the Falcons' Andrew Fratzke (Winona, Minn.) had eight points, 12 rebounds, two assists and a block, while Jake Jurss (Sheboygan, Wis.) netted 12 points with three 3-pointers.

Overall, it is the third time in Cassidy's tenure the program has competed against a non-NCAA Division III program. On November 15, 2009 they defeated NCAA Division II opponent UW-Parkside, 86-81, and also competed against Valparasio (NCAA Division I on December 19, 2009 ending in an 83-57 loss).
