Critical matchup looms for CUW men's basketball/ The Scouting Report

MEQUON, Wis.-  The Raiders of MSOE have a 9-4 overall record to date including 3-1 in the NAC North; right behind CUW's 4-1 mark.  The teams meet this evening in the Buuck Fieldhouse with game time scheduled for 7:00pm.

MSOE has been led in scoring by Austin Stueck (11.5 ppg). Stueck also leads all Raider rebounders with 58.  Victor Bande is second in scoring at 8.5 for a balanced MSOE contingent and John Cording, the team's assist leader, is at 8.1.

The patient Raiders rely on their defense, averaging and allowing about 60 points per game.  They are shooting just under 38% from the field and have already found their way to the free throw line 287 times, knocking down 67% of those opportunities.

The Falcons trounced MSOE 82-61 in their only meeting one year ago when the schools played in opposite divisions.
