CUW men travel to Concordia Chicago tonight/ The Scouting Report

MEQUON, Wis.  Eager to get rid of the taste of a pair of losses at the JustaGame Tournament in Wisconsin Dells, Shawn Cassidy's Falcons (5-5/ 2-1 NAC) take their next bus ride to Chicago Wednesday to meet up with the Cougars.

Concordia Chicago has fallen on hard times this season, owning a 1-9 record to date.  The Cougars have had probelms with consistency as no single player is averaging in double figures.  Another telling stat is that no player has started more than eight of the ten CUC games to date.

Inside player Marcus Elston (9.5 ppg) leads the team offensively.  He has snared a team-high 63 rebounds and been to the free throw line a team-leading 36 times.

Several other players who have been in and out of the Cougar lineup are capable of big games.  Tyler Oden, for example, has scored 33 points in conference play, but has only been able to participate in two of the four league games that CUC has been involved in.

Concordia-Chicago is averaging about 64 points per game while allowing 74 to date.
