CUW men meet UW-Oshkosh at Just a Game Classic/ The Scouting Report

MEQUON, Wis.-  Fresh off a pair of exciting wins at the Daytona Beach Classic, the Concordia Wisconsin men's basketball team stays on the road for competition at the Just A Game Classic in Wisconsin Dells beginning on Saturday.

In their first of two weekend matchups, the Falcons meet UW-Oshkosh in a 7:30pm encounter.  The Titans, members of the powerful WIAC, have a disappointing 4-6 record to date.

Two players have provided the bulk of the scoring for UW-O.  Perimeter threat Cory Nickel, 14.5 points per game, has already fired up 98 three point attempts and been successful on 40 of them.  Point guard Jay Royston is second in scoring (13.4) and is the Titan assist leader with 34.

Andre Wallace (5.6)  and Sean Wise (4.9 ppg) have also started every game for UW- O.  The Titans have been scoring 60 points per contest while allowing 66.  Rebounding has been the main nemesis as opponents have averaged eight more carons per game than UW-O.  Win or lose, CUW will face UW-Stout the following day.
