Parks Cawthray Claims CFHC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

DANVILLE, Ky. – The Collegiate Field Hockey Conference announced its Player of the Week honors on Monday afternoon. Parks Cawthray was voted the CFHC Defensive Player of the Week by the conference for the performances against Kenyon and Sewanee.

A sophomore from Oakville, Ontario, Parks Cawthray is collecting the honor for the first time.

Against Kenyon, the Canadian Falcon collected 15 saves in the 2-1 victory.

Cawthray then added six saves against Sewanee on Sunday.

Shepard Ramsey of Sewanee was voted as the CFHC Offensive Player of the Week. She scored her first collegiate goal, which was the game-winner in overtime against Marian, to secure the Tigers' first conference win since 2021.

Cawthray and the Falcons return to action on Saturday at Centre.
