LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 2019 season came to an end for the CUW field hockey team in the SAA Tournament Semifinals. The Lynx of Rhodes walked away with a 4-0 victory. CUW ends the year with a 6-11 record.
Rhodes jumped on the Falcons early with two goals in the first quarter.
The Lynx added a goal in the second and fourth quarters to win the game.
Freshman Alison Senkbeil (St. Louis, Mo.) secured two saves in her first collegiate game as a goalie.
Rhodes outshot CUW on Saturday, 10-9.
Senior Sam Dunn (Hartland, Wis.) and freshman Donna Pitock (Naperville, Ill.) both had three shots.
