MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons attacked the net all day against the Valkryies and were finally able to break through in the 57th minute.

"Just what we needed heading into a very important conference game on Sunday", said Sam Schoessow. "I am very proud of the whole team and how hard they worked today."

The Blue and White peppered the Converse net with 27 shots on Friday.

The Falcons showed aggression and forced 20 penalty corners, the second most in program history.

Freshman Emily Binley (Suffolk, Va.) posted six saves in the shutout.

Sophomore Megan McPike (Mequon, Wis.) broke the tie off a pass from freshman Alison Senkbeil (St. Louis, Mo.).

Megan McPike led all players with 14 shots, with 10 on goal.

The Falcons close the regular season on Sunday against Transylvania.
