MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The CUW field hockey team came up short on Sunday against Rhodes. The Lynx took the match with a 3-0 score. The Falcons move to 4-8 on the year.
The Lynx scored a goal in the first three quarters to secure the victory.
Freshman Emily Binley (Suffolk, Va.) had a strong outing in the cage with a career-high 14 saves.
Senior Kelsey Fulton (Hartland, Wis.) and sophomore Megan McPike (Mequon, Wis.) led CUW with four shots on Sunday.
The Lynx held a 28-13 advantage in shots on Sunday.
The Falcons return home for the remainder of the regular season. The Blue and White will host Sewanee for a two-game series starting on Saturday.
