Buehler and Dunn named to SAA All-Tournament Team

CONWAY, Ark. – The Southern Athletic Association named two Falcons to the SAA All-Tournament Team in field hockey.

The Falcons advanced to the tournament semifinals for the first time in program history with a 2-1 victory over Hendrix in the quarterfinals.

Brianna Buehler

A junior defender from Hartland, Wisconsin, Buehler helped anchor a defense that only allowed one goal to Hendrix on Friday afternoon. The Warriors were only able to get seven shots on the cage in the quarterfinals. Buehler also recorded a shot in both games.

Sam Dunn

A junior midfielder from Sussex, Wisconsin, Dunn tied the quarterfinal game with a goal in the 16th minute of play. Against Hendrix she tallied two shots, both being on goal. Dunn led the Falcons on Saturday with three shots against Centre.

Nina Migneco of Rhodes was named the Most Valuable Player.

The SAA will announce the all-conference selections later this week.
