Falcons’ record-breaking journey ends in SAA Semifinals

CONWAY, Ark. – The 2018 season came to an end on Saturday for the CUW field hockey team. After advancing to the SAA Tournament Semifinals for the first time, the Falcons were defeated by the top-seeded Colonels of Centre, 5-0.

"We had a great season," said head coach Samantha Landis-Schoessow. "I can't thank our team enough for all of their hard work in and out of the season. We've grown so much as a team and have established our team culture, developed leaders and broke some program records along the way. This wasn't the way we had hoped to end year three, but I couldn't be more proud of this team. We are already looking forward to year four."
