Henny Hiemenz joined the 2011 Concordia University Wisconsin football program as the Offensive Coordinator.

Hiemenz's spread offense has been one of the most potent attacks in the nation over the past few years. During his tenure, a multitude of records have been set (game, season and individual career) and in 2015 he coached Aaron Nixon who set the program's single-season record for completions (260). As well, the 2015 squad led the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference for the third-consecutive year in total offense (412.3 yards per game) and the 2014 team had a NACC best 445 yards per game, including 274.8 passing yards per game, which also ranked 12th nationally.

In 2013, CUW boasted one of the best offenses in the nation, averaging 468 yards per game, including 295 in the air. CUW averaged a NACC-best 41.0 points per game, which also ranked 16 nationally. The Falcons also set 10 season records, which included touchdowns and first downs. Hiemenz also guided quarterback Austin Damaschke, who was a finalist for the Gagliardi Trophy and the winner of the WFCA and NACC Player of the Year honors.

Hiemenz's quarterbacks have thrived under the spread offense, with Damaschke ranking fourth nationally in 2013 averaging 349.5 yards per game and first in 2014 with 378 total offensive yards per game. As well, Nixon ranked 13th in 2015 with 321 total offensive yards per game.

Prior to CUW, Hiemenz was the head coach at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wis., where he led the Pioneers to a 28-22 record in five seasons. During that span, Hiemenz coached 72 All-Conference players and 52 Academic All-Conference performers. He also had a hand in the development of the all-time leader in rushing, receptions, and kicking at CU.

Hiemenz played collegiate football at Ithaca College, where he earned three letters and was the starting fullback on the 1998 ECAC Northwest Championship team. While at Ithaca, Hiemenz earned his bachelor of science degree in Physical Education (K-12). Hiemenz stayed at Ithaca, beginning his coaching career as an assistant offensive line coach and helping the program earn a spot in the ECAC playoffs.

He then joined the coaching staff at Illinois Wesleyan University, winning two CCIW Co-Championships as the running backs coach for the Titans. Hiemenz earned his master's degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation in 2001 at Illinois State University. He then moved to Utica College, where he worked as the wide receivers coach for one season before arriving at Carroll as the Offensive Coordinator in 2003.

Hiemenz is an active member of the American Football Coaches Association and the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association. He lives in Menomonee Falls with his wife Kim and daughter Ava.
