Zach Heinen Earns NACC Weekly Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athletes of the Week for football on Tuesday afternoon. Zach Heinen was voted as the NACC Special Teams Player of the Week by the athletics communications professionals within the conference.

A sophomore from Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Zach Heinen is claiming the honor for the first time in his career.

On Saturday, he added two extra-point attempts to the scoreboard and made a 31-yard field goal in a 23-20 victory over Eureka.

Heinen is the second Falcon to claim the honor with Gio Nowotarski claiming the honor on Sept. 25.

E'Derian Sykes of Concordia Chicago was voted as the NACC Offensive Player of the Week and Joe Jung of St. Norbert was voted for defense.

The Falcons return to action on Saturday at St. Norbert.
