Baseball projected fourth in NACC preseason poll

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin Baseball team was voted to finish fourth in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Preseason Poll. The voting for the poll was done by coaches and athletic communications directors from around the league.

The Falcons earned 190 points in the poll, while Concordia Chicago led the poll with 272. The Cougars (42-10, 21-1 NACC in 2019) earned half of the first-place votes.

Aurora, which claimed last year's NACC Tournament title as the No. 2 seed, is second with 264 points and eight first-place votes.

Benedictine sits third with 253 points and received the remaining four first-place votes.

Dominican (180) trails the Falcons to round out the top five. Marian is sixth with 178 points and would be the final seed in the NACC playoffs.

MSOE is seventh with 143 points, while Illinois (141), Lakeland (67), Rockford (65), Edgewood (64), and Wisconsin Lutheran (55) round out the poll.
