Bio

Sarah Koenig completed her first season as the Acrobatics & Tumbling Graduate Assistant Coach during the 2015-16 season. Koenig comes to the Falcons after a successful career as a member of the Oregon Ducks Acrobatics & Tumbling program.

Koenig was a member of the 2013-14 NCATA National Championship, along with Falcons head coach McKenzie Wilcox. She helped the Ducks post a 12-1 overall record in 2013-14, all while winning the programs fourth straight national championship. In 2014-15 Koenig helped the Ducks capture a national runner-up finish.

Koenig also brings an extensive background of gymnastics to the Falcons program. While at Steller Secondary School in Anchorage, Alaska, she was a four-year letterwinner, competing in all events. During her senior season she captured an all-around championship, while also serving as team captain. Koenig was also a member of performance gymnastics at Aurora Kids for eight years.

Koenig graduated from Oregon during the 2015 season with a Bachelor's degree in General Science. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education at CUW.
