ACHA Hockey makes it six in a row with sweep of Saint Mary’s

MEQUON, Wis.  Benny Serres led the Falcons with two goals as Concordia Wisconsin completed the series sweep of Saint Mary's with a 4-1 win on Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Alec Murano (St. Peters, Mo.) opened the scoring for the Falcons with a goal at 7:28 in the first period.
-Serres (Merton, Wis.) followed in the second period with his first goal on the night.
-The third period saw the Cardinals get on the board with a goal by Dan Schmidt.
-Their lead cut to one, the Falcons answered emphatically with two goals seven seconds apart. Mitchel Klopp (South Milwaukee, Wis.) scored at 17:25 and Serres scored his second of the night at 17:32.
-Concordia Wisconsin outscored Saint Mary's 9-1 in the series.
-The Falcons have won six in a row, with three consecutive series-sweeps.
