ACHA Hockey earns road win at Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, Penn. – Jonathon Grodzki scored twice to lead the Concordia Wisconsin ACHA Hockey team to a 4-2 victory over the University of Pittsburgh on Friday night.

THE BASICS
-Final Score: Concordia Wisconsin 4, Pittsburgh 2
-Records: Concordia Wisconsin 6-13, Pittsburgh 10-7

HOW IT HAPPENED
-After the Panthers jumped out to a 1-0 lead, the Falcons answered with consecutive goals by Adam Natzke and Grodzki. Natzke (Ballwin, Mo.) scored near the end of the first period. Grodzki (Tampa Bay, Fla.) scored midway through the second.
-The Panthers scored once more in the second to even the game at 2-2.
-The Falcons took control in the third. Alec Murano (St. Peters, Mo.) scored the game-winner and Grodzki added on an insurance goal to help CUW to their sixth win of the season.
