ACHA Hockey rallies, falls in overtime to DePaul

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin ACHA Men's Hockey team fell 5-4 in overtime on Friday to DePaul. 

THE BASICS
-Final Score: DePaul 5, Concordia Wisconsin 4 (OT)
-Location: Ozaukee Ice Center – Mequon, Wisconsin
-Records: DePaul 1-0, Concordia Wisconsin 0-3

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Down 4-2 in the third period, the Falcons rallied to score twice to send the game to overtime. Adam Natzke (Ballwin, Missouri) scored seven minutes into the third to cut the Blue Demons lead to one. With 1:06 remaining in regulation, Christopher Moore (Vernon, British Columbia) put one in the net to even it up at 4-4.
-The Blue Demons struck early in overtime. 1:36 into the extra frame, Mike Helf scored to hand DePaul the win in their season opener.
-Four different Falcons scored in the game. Prior to the third-period goals by Natzke and Moore, Jonathon Grodzki (Tampa Bay, Fla.) scored in the first and Benny Serres (Merton, Wis.) scored in the second.
-Goalie Robert Houle (Sun Prairie, Wis.) had 45 saves for the Falcons, including 22 in the second period alone.
