ACHA Hockey drops second straight against MSOE Club

MEQUON, Wis. – A four-goal second period by the MSOE Club Team was too much for the Concordia University Wisconsin ACHA Hockey team to overcome Saturday. The Falcons dropped their second straight to MSOE, Saturday's result a 7-4 final.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons struck first as Cole Anderson continued his hot streak with a first-period score. It was the top line who produced the Falcons goal once again, with Anthony Pickering and Andrej Buchko assisting on the Anderson goal.

- MSOE responded a few minutes later, but Anderson was at it again late in the period with his second goal of the afternoon. Pickering and Buchko once again assisted on the score, this one giving CUW a 2-1 lead heading into the first intermission.

- The second period is where things unraveled for the Falcons as MSOE struck four times. CUW did score once in the period, a goal from Max Schramm. Jonathon Grodzki and Charlie Pienta picked up assists on the play.

- The final CUW score again came from the top line. Buchko lit the lamp, while Pickering and Anderson tallied assists.

- Brian Johnson finished with 41 saves between the pipes for CUW.

- The Falcons are off next weekend before visiting Bradley for games on October 20-21.
