ACHA Hockey to host MSOE in home-opening series this weekend

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin ACHA Men's Hockey team will play two home games this weekend against MSOE. The Falcons are coming off a 1-1 weekend at Illinois last weekend and are looking for a strong couple of days against the Raiders at home.

THE BASICS
- Who: Concordia Wisconsin (1-1) vs. MSOE (0-0)
- Where: Ozaukee Ice Center – South Rink
- When: Friday and Saturday, October 6/7 (8:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.)

RINK NOTES
- The Falcons split at Illinois last weekend, including an impressive come-from-behind win against the Illini on Saturday.

- Anthony Pickering (Sylvan Lake, Alberta) had a strong weekend, scoring four goals and adding two assists. Cole Anderson (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) also had a six-point weekend, leading the team with five assists, while adding one goal. Andrej Buchko (Peoria, Ill.) recorded five points over the two games for the Falcons.

- Robert Houle (Sun Prairie, Wis.) saw most of the action at goaltender for the Falcons last weekend, recording 52 saves in 90 minutes. Brian Johnson (Plainfield, Ill.) played 30 minutes for CUW.

- The MSOE ACHA Division II team has yet to play this season. The Raiders and Falcons are scheduled to meet three times this year, also scheduled to play on Saturday, February 3.
