Matt Schubert will be in his fifth season as an assistant coach with the Concordia University Wisconsin Baseball program for 2022. Schubert joined the Falcons staff after an impressive four-year playing career. 

Schubert had his best season in 2017, securing D3Baseball.com Second Team All-Midwest Region honors and ABCA Third Team All-Midwest Region honors. Schubert was also a First Team All-NACC selection after batting .374 with a team-best 50 runs scored. He roped 20 doubles, which ranked seventh nationally. Schubert also was a key piece to the Falcons pitching staff, throwing 45.1 innings with a 3.57 ERA. 

The West Bend native graduated from CUW last spring with a degree in Sport & Entertainment Business.
