Bio

Ellie Tabaka finished her second season with the CUW women's hockey program in the 2022-23 season. 

She helped the Falcons post a winning record in the NCHA in her first season. 

She graduated from Augsburg in 2020 with a degree in graphic design. During her two years at Augsburg, she played two years of hockey, where she competed in the MIAC Championship. She led the team in assists in the 2018-19 season and was named an assistant captain in the 2019-20 season. Tabaka also reached the MWLC Championship with the women's lacrosse team.

Before Augsburg, Tabaka competed at St. Thomas in Minnesota, where she won two MIAC championships and earned two trips to the NCAA Tournament.

She served as the assistant coach for the varsity lacrosse team at Tartan High School.

Tabaka was also the head coach for Visitation in 2021 for its inaugural season.

Tabaka is also the assistant coach for the women's lacrosse program at CUW.
