WAUKESHA, Wis. –
The Northern Athletics Conference released updated standings for the 2012-2013 All-Sports Awards and the Concordia University Wisconsin women's athletic teams sit atop following the conclusion of the winter sports season.

CUW is receiving an index rating of 11.43 entering the spring, putting them nearly a full point ahead of Wisconsin Lutheran College, who sits in second place with a 10.57. Five of the seven Falcons teams who received a score thus far have earned double-digit points, led by the 16 points Women's Golf received after their conference championship performance in the fall.

Women's Golf was joined by Women's Basketball as conference champions as the Falcons won the North Division this season, posting a 14-4 league record. Women's Cross Country and Women's Soccer each earned third-place finishes, both resulting in 12 points towards the team score.

The men's sports standings were also updated Monday as CUW sits in third place with an index rating of 10.70. Aurora leads the men's teams with a 12.70.

The CUW women's teams are aiming for their fifth All-Sports Award in 2012-2013. The Falcons won four straight beginning in the 2007-2008 season, lasting until 2010-2011. CUW men's athletic teams have also captured two All-Sports Awards, one coming last year, and the first in 2009-2010.
