CUW announces incoming student-athletes

MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia University Wisconsin is pleased to announce the latest group of incoming student-athletes for the 2015-16 athletic year. The NCAA passed legislation for Division III which allows incoming student-athletes to sign a celebratory form to show they have committed to a respective institution and athletic program.

This list of student-athletes of have an accepted deposit at CUW, signed the form and their respecitive coach had submitted information to CUWFalcons.com.

Landen Barten Men's Lacrosse Omaha, Neb. Millard North
Member of Millard North High School Varsity team and also a Nebraska Prime club lacrosse member. Attended Denver Shootout, and Vail Shootout and was a Nebraska All State recognition.
 
Aiden Bruin Men's Lacrosse  Lockport, Ill. Lockport Township
Member of the Lockport Township High School Lacrosse team. Also played travel lacrosse with New Wave Lacrosse. Named to the all-star team at the 2014 CST Expo in Milwaukee. Was a 2014 All-South Suburban Second Team selection as a midfielder.
       
Eric Carrolan Men's Lacrosse Pleasanton, Calif. Amador Valley
Three-year starter at Amador Valley and a team captain senior year. Led team in scoring senior season and was a Second Team All-Conference selection. Also plays for the NorCal Braves travel team.
       
Jack Donnellan   Men's Lacrosse Grayslake, Ill.  Grayslake North
Member of the Grayslake North High School Lacrosse program. Played both lacrosse and football in high school with lacrosse team capturing the 2012 Class B state championship.
       
Trey Kazda Men's Lacrosse Verona, Wis. Verona
Three-year member of Verona High School Lacrosse program. Named All-Conference and helped team to a state championship in 2014, as well as a runner-up finish in 2013. Played club for True Lacrosse and Milkmen WI. 
       
Ryan Lazarus Men's Lacrosse Davie, Fla. Western
Was a Second Team All-District selection, three-time team captain, as well as a Top 205 participant. Played club hockey and was a national roller hockey champion. Elected to All-Star game, while representing Team Florida in roller hockey.
       
Brandon Miller Men's Lacrosse Schaumburg, Ill. Schaumburg
Member of the Schaumburg High School Lacrosse team. Also played for the Tirbal Lacrosse travel team.
       
Omar Nijmeh Men's Lacrosse Dallas, Pa. Dallas
Member of Lacrosse, Basketball and Football teams for Dallas. Played for the Bison Brawlers travel team and also represented Team USA on the American International Sports Tours Lacrosse Team. Selected as a District 2 WVC Lacrosse All-Star First Team selection in 2015.
       
Garrett Wohlford Men's Lacrosse Rochester, Minn. Century
Starting goalie at Century, while also playing for the Minnesota Chill Travel Lacrosse team.
       
Madison Churchill  Volleyball  Mayville, Wis.  Mayville 
Was a three-year right side hitter at Mayville. Served as team captain junior and senior seasons. Was a First Team All-Conference selection junior year, while also earning All-Conference recognition sophomore and senior years. Led team in kills during senior season with 215.    
       
Amanda Schultz  Volleyball  North Prairie, Wis.  Mukwonago 
Team was a two-time regional championship, while also qualifying for the sectional finals. Named Offensive Player of the Year senior year, as well as being a First Team All-Conference selection. Also finished with most blocks, kills, and best kill percentage on team. Helped club team qualify for nationals in New Orleans.    
       
Mackenzie Wockenfus Volleyball Appleton, Wis. Appleton East
Three-year volleyball starter as well as a team captain in 2014. Team won regional championship twice, as well as being a sectional runner-up. Was a Second Team All-Conference and All-Area selection in 2013, as well as an honorable mention All-Area pick in 2014. Had over 2,350 assists in career and over 650 digs. Member of Wisconsin Volleyball Academy for past five years and competed at AAU Volleyball Nationals in Orlando.
