Athletic Department Administration speaks with student-athletes

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin student-athletes represent not only themselves, but also the University and those in and around their respective program. On Wednesday evening all student-athletes gathered inside the R. John Buuck Field House for the annual all-athlete meeting.

Several members of the Athletic Department's administrative staff, as well as Rev. Dr. Patrick T. Ferry spoke to over 600 student-athletes. Ferry spoke about being a family and succeeding at the highest level.

Director of Athletic Dr. Rob Barnhill explained that being a student-athlete holds more weight because people recognize who they are because of the uniform they wear.

Senior Associate Director of Athletics Stacey Brunner-Jones talked about NCAA eligibility, Men's Basketball head coach Shawn Cassidy talked about the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and Director of Athletic Communications Steven Schauer talked about several items, including social media.
