Bio
Dr. Niedfeldt graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater magna cum laude and went on to earn his medical doctorate from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his residency in Family Medicine through the Medical College of Wisconsin’s program at St. Mary’s Hospital, where faculty and peers nominated him as Chief Resident. With a keen interest in both primary care and sports medicine, Dr. Niedfeldt subsequently completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine, also at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Following this, he completed a Faculty Development fellowship with an emphasis on education.
Dr. Niedfeldt is currently on the medical staff at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Columbia St. Mary’s-Ozaukee as well as the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin. With his avid interest in sports medicine and athletics, Dr. Niedfeldt enjoys serving as team physician for the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Wave, the US National Snowboarding Team, Wisconsin Lutheran College, Concordia University and the Milwaukee Ballet. He serves on the Board of Directors for the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
